DAY 1 – Cusco / Urubamba
Upon your arrival from Lima to Cusco, you will be greeted by your guide and taken on a tour showcasing the best of Cusco, including the Koricancha Temple (Temple of the Sun), the Cathedral, with its magnificent chapels, baroque altars, and paintings from the Cusqueña School.
On our way to the Sacred Valley, we will visit the ruins of Puca Pucara, the massive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the Inca bath of Tambomachay, and the amphitheater of Kenko. We will then continue our journey to Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, where we will spend the night at the Tambo del Inka Luxury Hotel.
