NATURAL WORLD
The richness and complexity of the wildlife all around us, with hundreds of endemic species at every turn, is one of the greatest gifts to us, a constant reminder of our connection and a bath in beauty for our spirits.
We put into practice our philosophy of building a future that preserves the magic of life.
The Galapagos Islands are a natural treasure—and at Golden Galapagos, we believe protecting them is as important as exploring them. As the first carbon neutral cruise operator of its kind, we’ve taken bold steps to lead the way in luxury sustainable travel.
With the support of SICMA Ecuador and VERSA, we’ve redesigned our fleet for energy efficiency, introduced eco-conscious battery technology, enhanced our waste management systems, and built a culture of sustainability onboard. Our goal: to ensure that every guest’s experience leaves a positive impact, both on the environment and the communities we serve.

Agents of change
Ours is a world in which every part is interconnected and essential
Ours is a complex ecosystem that grows through mutual respect and collaboration
Infinitely fortunate to live among such beauty, we believe in doing everything we can to minimize our impact on the archipelago and use all of our effort and resources to do so. We advocate for both the wildlife and the local communities that make up the Galapagos, using to our advantage advances in technology to keep its charm untouched and restore what has been affected by our presence.
The things that matter to us are manifested in the attention we pay and the actions we take. At Golden Galapagos, we embrace sustainable luxury travel, to build a future that preserves the past. And we transform our beliefs into tangible results in three main ways.
Giving back is the basis of our plan. We seek to neutralize our carbon emissions by working with forward-thinking companies like SICMA ECUADOR.
SICMA ECUADOR is a company that provides training, consulting and environmental advisory services. It was born as an urgent call to offer solutions that mitigate global warming. One of its main objectives is to promote responsible environmental management in organizations while promoting their productive development, profitability, and competitiveness. It also seeks to preserve the organizations’ area of influence while guaranteeing the ecological well-being of future generations.

By joining forces, we enhance our collective impact, directing resources more effectively. Our commitment is reinforced by innovative digital fundraising and the widespread promotion of UNICEF’s work in Ecuador across our communication channels. Together, we are dedicated to making a significant positive change in the critical battle against Chronic Childhood Malnutrition.
